Introduction
Tribhuvan University (TU), established in 1959, is Nepal’s first national institution of higher education. Located in Kirtipur, just five kilometers from Kathmandu city center, TU spans over 154.77 hectares of land. It is a non-profit, autonomous institution funded by the Government of Nepal.
TU offers a wide range of academic programs through its five institutes and four faculties, which include 44 central departments, 64 constituent campuses, and over 1053 affiliated colleges.
